Advancements on Nov 17
Tomorrow is our final day of shooting. We are going to interview my anthropology teacher about what she knows on tattoos. Then on Tuesday, Krizia and I will start the editing on final cut pro while video workshop class. We really want to get into media night so we better start fast.

We have shot footage of our tattoo artist and up next we will shoot our friends on their opinions. I spoke to my anthropology teacher and she said she would be part of our documentary too. She’ll talk about her anthropological perspective on why humans in general get tattoos, and the origins of them.

Today, we are meeting the tattoo artist, Jamie. We are renting a recorder from the school and using Krizia’s camera. We already have a long list of questions for her. They are mostly about her opinion on tattoos and what made her want to become a tattooist.

Advancements Week Oct 28
This week, we contacted our tattoo artist and she agreed to be part of our documentary. We wrote down some questions we would want to ask her, and questions for the other people part of our film. We will start shooting next thursday, for now we are getting familiar with Final Cut Pro 10. We have some ideas as to how our documentary will look like. We want to maybe start the film with the definition of the word tattoo, a lot of pictures of tattoos from people we know and we might have a narrator for our film.

This week I have been asking people I know if they would interested in appearing in my documentary and trying to contact my dad’s friend who is a tattoo artist. I’ve written down a couple of questions for them and trying to figure out the dates when we couple shoot.
